JAIPUR: Just a few minutes after the Centre announced scrapping of CBSE class XII board examinations, the state education minister Govind Singh Dotasra posted on social media that decision for Classes X and XII board exams for Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) will be taken on Wednesday.
After a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it was decided to scrap class XII board examination. The board in a statement said, “CBSE will take steps to compile the results of class XII students as per a well-defined objective criterion in a time-bound manner.”
Last year, RBSE conducted both the board exams even after CBSE cancelled the Class X and XII exams of remaining subjects.
This year, however, the situation has become dangerous and with speculation of third wave it has become difficult to expect when things will get normal. Hence, state government is now considering to scrap the exams. However, there is still confusion on the basis on which students will be evaluated.
