AHMEDABAD: Parts of central Gujarat including Ahmedabad may receive light showers on Thursday and Friday with monsoon advancing further in Gujarat, mentioned India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the city’s maximum temperature climbed further at 40.6 degrees celsius, 2.3 degrees above normal. At 29.1 degrees, the minimum temperature was also 1.9 degrees higher – resulting in humid climate for the citizens.
‘Light to moderate rain/thundershowers very likely at isolated places in Ahmedabad, Anand, Dang, Tapi, Surat, Navsari, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Bhavnagar, Kutch and Union Territories of Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli,’ read forecast for June 17.
